  1. What is the age restriction to ride at Third Power Cycle?
  • The minimum age of a beginning rider varies as do children, their bodies and fitness levels. The crank arm may be too long for many young children and thus may cause injury to the knees due to ROM (Range of Motion). Furthermore, our 45-lb flywheel may be too much for underdeveloped leg muscles to control at low or no resistance. Therefore, each child wanting to participate will be based on safety and maturity of the rider. Regardless, all riders under the age of 18 need to have a parent or legal guardian provide a physical signature of a waiver provided by Third Power Cycle.
  1. What do I need?
  • Cycling shoes with LOOK DELTA or SPD clips or closed toe tennis shoes. No shoes, No problem. We have shoes for rent at $2.00/pair
  • Bottled water
  • Workout wear (no loose pant legs is recommended for safety purposes)
  1.   What is your cancellation policy?
  • We ask that a rider who needs to cancel or unreserve their bike do so online 4 hours prior to a class. Penalty for failing to cancel or not showing can lead to loss of class from numbered packages or a $15.00 fee from unlimited packages.
  1.  How long will you hold a bike?
  • In a full class situation, Third Power Cycle will release bikes to waitlisted people at beginning of class.
  1.  What is your waitlist policy?
  • Bikes in full classes will be released after class starts. Riders on wait list will be notified as soon as bikes become available.
  1.  What is class etiquette?
  • Third Power asks all conversations be kept pre or post-ride for the courtesy of your fellow riders. Please no strong perfume or cologne during class ( deodorant is OK).  If entering class late or leaving class early, do so discretely.  Finally, please wipe your bike down after riding.
  1.  What is your cell phone policy?
  • We understand that cell phones are a necessity at times. However, we ask that they be kept on silent and used only outside of studio.
  1.  Can I exercise if I am pregnant?
    • In most cases, fitness regimes that you participated in before can continue during pregnancy. However, we recommend that you notify and be cleared through your physician before starting or continuing any cycling program. Please notify instructors of any restrictions.

9.   When can I book and how far ahead can I book a ride?

  • Booking opens at 12pm every Sunday for the upcoming week until the following Sunday
